Someone please translate into English? -- Timwi 04:14, 18 Dec 2003 (UTC)
I think someone has a crush on Harry Potter. God knows how he/she found this page since Radcliffe isn't mentioned here... And it appears as though he/she signed using three tildes, which would seem to indicate a degree of Wikipedia regularity that makes a noteworthy age discrepancy between the writer and Radcliffe likely. But who knows...Tuf-Kat 04:28, Dec 18, 2003 (UTC)
No, they didn't sign their message at all. Sorry for being deceitful :/ I only added it so one could see who it was from without browsing the history. -- Timwi 04:37, 18 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Oh, well, nevermind. It's some kid with a crush... How cute. Tuf-Kat 04:40, Dec 18, 2003 (UTC)
Yes. Cute. :-) -- Timwi 04:45, 18 Dec 2003 (UTC)

Hudson Motor Car Company[edit]

The event entry "The Hudson Motor Car Company merges with Nash-Kelvinator forming the American Motors Corporation." doesn't have a date.--Silverhand 19:06, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I fixed it myself. Yay me!--Silverhand 19:14, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Freedom Day[edit]

This date is listed as Freedom Day, worldwide. I can't find any reference to this celebration, anywhere. Unless it can be substantiated I'll remove the reference in a couple of days. Arcturus 22:43, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

Fundamental Orders[edit]

According to the constitution article, this was merely the first North American written constitution, making the current selected anniversary description rather misleading. Modest Genius talk 03:33, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Two entries for Odoric of Pordenone[edit]

Odoric of Pordenone has just been added under Christian Feast Days. I've accepted the pending revision, but was looking for some policy clarification. Odoric of Pordenone is *also* listed as a 1331 death. Is it appropriate to have both entries? FWIW, Devasahayam Pillai and Eivind Berggrav have Feast Day entries, but no death entries despite both having died on January 14. Rwessel (talk) 07:57, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Holidays and observances / Sidereal winter solstice[edit]

Is there really such a thing as the "Sidereal winter solstice"? I don't doubt that there is a holiday celebrating Uttarayana on, or about, January 14, but is it really called "Sidereal winter solstice" (which doesn't really make sense)? Rwessel (talk) 18:18, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Note: there's a similar entry on April 14. Rwessel (talk) 18:20, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
