- ... that the Hokkaido wolf (pictured) and Japanese river otter are classed as extinct on the 2020 Japanese Red List?

- New enough, long enough, no copyvios. Hook seems interesting, if a bit randomly chosen. As an alternative hook, I think mentioning that "...110 species are considered "extinct in Japan" on the Japanese Red List" would also be interesting. I do question if the "2020" mention of the red list is necessary, I think the date could be kept out. Article looks good to me, very nicely done. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 23:55, 13 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hello, thank you, and an ALT as suggested, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 02:07, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
- ALT1 : ... that 110 taxa are classed as extinct on the Japanese Red List, among them the Hokkaido wolf (pictured)?
- Thank you! I prefer Alt1 to the original. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n!⚓ 22:04, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
