Years Active
[edit]So if Jeremy Miller will be a part in four movies in 2009, how comes that his career spans from 1982 to 2008? Are these his last movies? Were they filmed in 2008? Can someone check this? 77.181.218.167 (talk) 18:52, 17 December 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Jewish??? I thought he was Mormon.
I think the Mormon thing was a web rumour. He's Jewish.Vulturell 20:41, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
Web rumor, eh? Could've fooled me. But hey, Gordon Jump (Ed Malone on the show) was a Mormon. Then again, Kirk Cameron became born-again, just like BJ Thomas. That makes 2 born-again Christians working on the same show!
I saw a mention of him being a "ward" of some guy named Steve Gardner (who was a Mormon). I don't know exactly what "being a ward" means. Anyway, Miller's own parents were Jewish.Vulturell 23:40, 13 November 2005 (UTC)
Dick Grayson was Bruce Wayne's ward. I think it means "somebody who you follow" or something. It could be the same as a protoge. I'm not sure.
Hmmm... that's what I thought. Maybe his parents died and he became a ward of this Gardner guy, so he was Mormon-by-osmosis but Jewish by birth. Vulturell 04:40, 14 November 2005 (UTC)
That explains it. Well, why don't you ask the guy for yourself? I don't know his e-mail. 71.111.216.239 17:05, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Let me clear this up. Jeremy James Miller ( born Oct. 21 1976 ) Is NOT Jewish. He was raised Mormon by his mother, who married her second husband ( a Jewish man ) in 1987, followed by another divorce 10 years later. Both his natural parents are alive and well, Mother lives in California, Father lives in Alaska.
"Jeremy Miller, Ben on "Growing Pains," used to be in the ward of former Daily Herald reporter Steve Gardner." A ward is a Mormon congregation. newsnet.byu.edu/story.cfm/12627 Benporter 3 October 2006
Jeremy Miller: Mormon or Jew - Great Actor!!
[edit]His religion does not matter. BTW, just because his parents are Jewish does not make him Jewish. Judaism is a faith, a religion... not an ethnicity or nationality. He is whatever religion he chooses to be, and it's irrelevent anyway to discussing his schooling and/or career choices, whether or not he lives in China and speaks Chinese, is still making movies in China and if he is going to become a chef or not. He was a great child actor and is one of the hottest guys I've ever seen. And let's remember we're all just people, no one better than anyone else. If he's Jewish or Mormon or an atheist, kudos to him and I wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors. 209.247.22.30 20:31, 2 May 2007 (UTC)Christycatnip
I worked for a company that WB hired to track his stalkers(and others) . His was the worst. If memory serves me correct, we found him pumping gas in PA . Pumped him full of some 93 octane, but that didn't stop him from his cross country trip across america while sending letters to Jeremy's mom via WB. The letters would read "I saw your mom wearing a red blouse at xyz mall. Can wait to do xyz to Jeremy..."
Suggest we sub his entire article for the suggested summation: looooooooooooooooooooooooooooser. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.65.43.159 (talk) 15:35, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Ghostwriter
[edit]Jeremy was not in the pilot of Ghostwriter. He was in episodes 6 - 9. Maybe the pilot was referring to the first season. He was not invited because he was a well-known child actor, thus he required a high fee to be paid.
