Counter-Strike

[edit]

It would be nice if there was a little bit more information on his creation of Counter-Strike because that's what makes him notable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.250.0.104 (talk) 22:11, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

It's not clear that this person is notable. Richard Pinch (talk) 18:49, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Not clear"? Co-creating one of the most succesful videogames ever is not "notability-worthy"? dariopy (talk) 19:08, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Is there another citation for the previous cases in 2008 through 2013? The current reference is to a website that has no information on him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1702:2A0:BE90:AD8E:6E60:484:868D (talk) 03:03, 15 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This is far too detailed. In any article where we aren't reporting this in real-time, and are sort of swept up in the news reporting but look at it from a historical perspective, these things tend to be described in one to three sentences. As it has had a significant impact on his career and public image, it should be included, but level of detail is unbalanced and feels like Wikipedia:Recentism. /Julle (talk) 16:07, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
