Cleanup needed according to WP:POSTMOVE?

[edit]

Hi Wikipedians,

Not sure why the page was moved in the first place, but if the decision stands, do we need to replace all hyperlinked pages to Tan Wei Han to this page?

Thanks. Cheers, signed by User:IssacT6 17:22, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@IssacT6 : Based on edit summary by @Mwcns13, it is a conflict of interest since Mwcns13 claimed Tan requested for the naming. We should observe WP:COMMONNAME though but at the moment not sure is Jessica is her common name (aka by authors/writers of books/articles etc) though I am fine with leaving it as it is. Generally there is no need to change any of the wikilinks, this is why redirect exists. In the case of double redirects where wikilink A -> redirect B -> redirect C -> actual D, there is no need to do anything as well as there will be bots fixing the double redirects eventually within a few days. @IssacT6, User:Mwcns13 This artcile should not be moved to Jessica Tan Wei Han. We should follow WP:NCP. There were a consensus in Wikiproject badminton about Singaporean name both with Chinese and Western names. And Jessica Tan Wei Han shold be reffer as Jessica Tan. Per common mane Jessica Tan also used in The New Paper, ChannelNewsAsia, Today, and The Straits Times. Stvbastian (talk) 01:41, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So do we move the article back to Jessica Tan?
@User:Mwcns13 sent me a screenshot of an Instagram DM of her asking to add in the page title to Jessica, I think that is why the reason that he moved the page to this in the first place. User:IssacT6 03:53, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@User:IssacT6 Yes we can move that article to Jessica Tan. Stvbastian (talk) 06:05, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
