I'm not in any way involved with Jim's. Significance is indisputable - Jim's has been often in newspapers and featured on TV, particularly in relation to his extremely successful franchising operation. Jim's should definitely be in Wikipedia. I agree this needs work. Citations welcome!Ian T (talk) 06:36, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please remember that Wikipedia is for a global audience. What may seem "indisputable" to you may have no meaning at all to non-Australians. In the spirit of WP:AGF I will remove the speedy tag, but this needs sources as opposed to just links to the companies website. Beeblebrox (talk) 06:40, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You're absolutely right, but I may not get back to this for a while with citations - there are so many to go through!Ian T (talk) 06:43, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Added some citations, but unfortunately lost the one about his personal history - leaving university with a PhD in history - which was pretty interesting and might have made this sound less like an ad. I repeat, I am not in any way, even remotely, connected to Jim's or its employees, but felt this should be in the Wikipedia.Ian T (talk) 05:22, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
