Not only does this read a bit too much like an advertisement, but when I tried to wikify the list of awards, I couldn't find a single relevant Wikipedia article. We might be bumping into notability issues here... - dcljr (talk) 06:35, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it reads like an advertisement at all. As far as the awards, there are several areas to view the awards: I.D. Magazine, Parents' Choice website, Independent Publishers' Association, as well as AIGA Atlanta chapter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.56.53.50 (talkcontribs)

Fair enough, but can you provide links to Wikipedia articles about these things? - dcljr (talk) 17:56, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know the subtleties of the wikipedia, but as a naive user, it sure looks like an ad. It was actually jarring to come across this entry. ---- Nihongo dilettante

I also think this article reads like an advertisement. It may not even be notable enough for an entry: a Google search for "Jimi's Book of Japanese" gets less than 5,000 hits, almost none of which are from educational institution websites! Unless some editor can demonstrate sufficient notability, I suggest the article be deleted. Even if sufficient notability is demonstrated, I still think the article needs to be rewritten in a more encyclopaedic/neutral tone. 203.173.46.125 09:22, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely, not true. THere are over 86,000 hits on Google. Furthermore, there is no reference that this is purely an education book; therefore, your comment on not getting hits from educational institutions is immaterial. Your opinion is just that, an opinion and highly subjective.

It is nothing but an advertiesment and has no place on Wikipedia. [Piebaldcat]
Thank you for your concern about the article Piebaldcat however I'd like to refer you to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_blank_pages

"THere are over 86,000 hits on Google." Nonsense: http://www.google.com/search?q="Jimi's Book of Japanese" 203.173.16.199 (talk) 05:39, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
