Extensive edits by Nightscream[edit]

User Nightscream has deleted a lot of information that was actually sourced, but he either didn't read the sources or just willy-nilly went on a vandalism rampage.

At this point, I admit defeat. I have better things to do than deal with someone who's willfully ignorant and has poor writing skills. Wikipedia's quality will continue to decline as a small cabal of editors drive away other people who try to contribute.

I indeed read the sources in question, just as I read the new material I added to the article, along with dozen or so new secnonary sources that I added to the article. Any material removed from the article was done so with a good reason, as my edit summaries (which in some cases are rather detailed) can attest. If you want to know why a particular passage or bit of info whose removal was not explained in the edit summaries, just ask me here, where we can discuss it politely. The bottom line is, my edits adhered to Wikipedia policy. Much of the material in the article, including that which you added, did not.
But your repeated incivility, including falsely accusing me (again) of vandalism, when you know full well that that word does not mean "edits that I disagree with", along with the serial history of policy violations which resulted in an article's protection and your being blocked for a week, is not likely to convince anyone here, or help the project, no matter how many New York Times articles you link to.
