John Ellis and Arthur Ellis (English) related?

This article says John Ellis was a relative of his Canadian counterpart Arthur B. English, who was known as Arthur Ellis. That article says it's not true. What do reliable sources say? --64.231.233.242 (talk) 09:34, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
