There was no John Trelawny who sat for Lostwithiel in 1559; according to the History of Parliament, this was Thomas Mildmay and John Cosworth.
There was a John Trelawny (died 1563) who was MP for Liskeard 1553, then Cornwall 1559 and 1563. This article suggests that John (died 1568) was the son of John (died 1563), which seems to make sense; the HoP does confirm he had an elder son John. I'll remove the reference to him being an MP.
