- At that time Beverley/Beverly was also a man's name (or first a man's name.) The first surviving child of Sally Hemings and Jefferson was Beverly Hemings. His brother Eston Hemings named one of his sons for him. It's sourced.Parkwells (talk) 21:05, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
