inflation and currency conversion

Just wondering what the current price in USD/Euro would be for 155 marks in the range he sold them? Germany was going through hyperinflation at this point, so I'm curious what the rough equivalent would be in today's money for the standard and hand-crafted sets.

Popularity of the design of his chess set

Other examples of sculpture
