Removed 'multiple issues' tag
[edit]I have removed the 'multiple issues' tag placed on this article by User:MikeWazowski. He did not explain the specific reasons for this tagging on this talk page, but I will respond to the issues listed in the tag:
Notability. June Takahashi was one of the first Canadian women to earn the rank of black belt in Judo, and she is currently among the highest ranked in the country (a few other women hold the same rank as her, but no one higher). These are significant achievements in an activity that now has 30,000 participants in Canada (see the Judo in Canada article).
Primary sources. This article does not rely on 'primary sources' in the usual sense of this term, but it does use biographical information from a book co-authored by June Takahashi and her family. There is no reason to doubt the accuracy of this information, and Takahashi's rank is confirmed by the Judo Ontario website.CanadianJudoka (talk) 17:03, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Notability is subjective - I do not believe it has been shown. As to primary sources, the one you mention is the textbook definition of a primary source. Do not remove these tags while the issues remain. MikeWazowski (talk) 16:49, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
