Tangle of misnamed duplicates[edit]

This seems to be a mess at present:

  • Combination of transavantgarde art with German CDU politicians;
  • Inter-wiki links to the German article which brings in yet more wide usages of the term - from quantum mechanics to football;
  • Acknowledging (as does the German article) that Neue Wilde is the more common term for the artists.

So what to do with it? My suggestion is that Neue Wilde would be the correct placement for the article on the artists, leaving Junge Wilde for the politicians. But it isn't clear how to get from here to there while preserving their respective edit histories? AllyD (talk) 21:13, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

  • Further note: Neue Wilde is currently a redirect to this page whereas the plural Neue Wilden is a redirect to Neo-expressionism. AllyD (talk) 21:53, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
