Speedy Deletion?
[edit]Boy, that's a bit hasty! I am just following the information on Wikipedia Translation Requests by putting up the "Translation in process" and will place the translated article when it is translated. It shouldn't be more than 30 minutes.
Then you can speedy delete if you really want to!!? —Hydrostatics 15:41, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
With limited success in international competition and no record of competitive or coaching career in North America or the Commonwealth (none is cited), Mr. Honz is not a likely candidate for inclusion in this encyclopedia.--Verbocity11th 03:36, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
While proofreading the translation from German, I removed the tags about copyediting and notability. The article has been copyedited since the tag was placed there and seems very similar in tone to other articles about athletes I have read. In addition, as an Olympic athlete and European Championship winner, I think he is notable. Lack of success in the English-speaking world doesn't seem to be a sufficient criteria for deletion to me. NPOV would seem to indicate that other countries should also be important. Feel free to disagree if you'd like, but those were my reasons for removal. Scbarry (talk) 20:24, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
