- This article doesnt seem to reflect a proper professional, objective view, and needs to be thoroughly edited and re-written. Its rather too slanted in a fan-style article. Thanks. 39.54.123.131 (talk) 11:27, 7 November 2015 (UTC)Col (r) Mumtaz Khan, Pakistan
Indians vandalised this page. Indian biased editors stripped it off of all the details.
[edit]Hi I want to direct your attention to the fact that the wiki pages about India and Pakistan are gorging with Indian narratives and propaganda. When I tried to edit them to make them impartial, the pages get locked because of the suspicion of vandalism(at that time I didn't have wiki account). I think there are scores of Indian editors here and just like world's opinion they shape wikipedia narrative. For example, the page about col sher Khan shaheed had been stripped off of all the details from Indian bullies and it has nothing left. When I tried to put in the information that India suggested this person to be awarded Pakistans highest military award with a citation from Indian sources, it then became vandalism. While theirs highest military award holders have very elaborate and descriptive and uselessly biased tales and what not. Kindly try to correct those pages and make them impartial. Wikipedia is not their goverment run corporation or their media enterprise. Fyslrhmn (talk) 09:11, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- @Fyslrhmn: Here is a link to the article's edit history. Where in the article's edit history did you submit the changes you're detailing above? If you can provide a "diff" (hint: click on the relevant "PREV" link and copy/paste the URL), I'll look into it and try to figure out what the objection was to your edit. However, be advised, that you're not going to get anywhere if you're assuming bad faith of other Wikipedia editors or calling them names like "bullies" or vandals without evidence. This is a community editing project, so you need to both assume good faith as well as avoid personal attacks. It's certainly possible that you submitted a change that another editor rejected because the source was insufficient per Wikipedia's reliable source guidelines or something. His dead body was arranged to be sent by Brig M.P.S. Bajwa ( Retired) of Indian Army to New Delhi. With his Superior Officer's permission, Brig Bajwa placed a citation in Karnal Sher Khan's pocket. His body was offered to Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi to claim, but Pakistan Govt refused to claim the body stating that their Armed Forces were not involved in Kargil War. Ultimately, after mounting pressure from media and masses, his bosy was claimed by Pakistan Govt and was flown to Pakistan. He was honoured with Nishan e Haider posthomously later on
