May1-May31?

[edit]

Something seems wrong that beta only lasted a month....because I definitely played it for more than a month xD Is is May 1st 2006- May 31st 2007?

!!!!!!!

[edit]

There is one for America now!!! Polleo

It should be noted that the American version is a closed beta version. The game will only be downloadable for the month of May. The game only offers Speed and Item racing. Players can report bugs/problems on Nexon's website. No announcements on when it will come out of beta. Camknows

It will come out of beta in May, 31st. Amphitere 17:53, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

This article requires cleanup. There are grammatical mistakes nearly everywhere. Furthermore, the data inside the table for RP (points) has fallen outside of the table. This needs to be fixed. Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.129.57.160 (talk) 04:07, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Racing Points (RP) and Luccis

[edit]

What are the Luccis and RPs good for? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Section6 (talkcontribs) 23:38, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh... yeah... Someone should make a section about the shop. Stuff about the RP is on the bottom of the page, but there doesn't seem to be anything about Lucci. You can buy stuff in the shop with Lucci or Cash. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BrianGo28 (talkcontribs) 02:35, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Found this out the other day as well. Thanks though.

Types of Karts

[edit]

It's better than nothing, but it seems as the author of that section needed to show off by using abbreviations as much as possible: NX C1 (BrainGo28 didn't add this) E2 (BrainGo28 didn't add this) G3 (BrainGo28 didn't add this) R4 PRO SR Z7 (BrainGo28 didn't add this)

So, please explain these!

The author isn't the one who abbreviated them, the game calls them that as everyone else does too. BrianGo28 (talk) 08:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(FT and PT only exist in the Plazma karts.) FT: Takes you shorter to fill the gauges, but the boosts are shorter. FXT: Same with FT, but with 3 booster slots. PT and PXT: Takes you longer to fill the gauges, but the boosts are very long.

Dissapearance of the English Kartrider service

[edit]

After the "open beta" ended, the official site displayed for months a short message that the beta was over and the official service would start soon. Even later, now all traces of KartRider have been removed from the Nexon America website. The forums, game site, links to both, have all been removed. All inquiries about kartrider on the support site get automatically closed, as well. Does anyone have any information as to what happened here? Did they decide they couldn't compete with Mario Kart Wii's online play or something? If thats the case, maybe they didn't realize that they can keep adding content to this game while the ability to do so for MK is very limited. The article should cover this information if any exists. 74.69.245.119 (talk) 20:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New rankings on Korean Kartrider

[edit]

I checked the Korean Kartrider website (yes, I can read Korean) and it said that the rainbow star 5 is not the biggest. There seems to be medals after that. The highest seems to be a bronze medal (or is it gold?) with a rainbow strap.

facebook... yes... that social network

[edit]

Well there is a facebook game version of Kartrider called KartriderDash. But honestly, compared to the original game, is not up to expectations, obviously, by a LOT. It includes barely a small portion of the game and the player base is somewhat surviving so far, but I suppose it works as a supplement until NA Kartrider POSSIBLY, most likely not, come back. (question: anyone know how to play Kartrider Korean, now that it doesn't require a Korean social security number, as stupid as that sounds, to play? Or at least get a translated english private server) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.98.162.136 (talk) 02:51, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
