Tongues on the EDGE[edit]

I added the following sentence

"In 2017, a study using the EDGE metric from species conservation found that Kavalan, although critically endangered, was among the most lexically distinct of Austronesian languages.[4]"

The source to this is a peer-reviewed article published in Royal Society Open Science. I am the first author of this publication and am adding this note on the talk page for transparency. Nicolas Perrault (talk) 18:59, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
