Monorchism

[edit]

Anyone remember the words of the title song in the film of the river kwai as sung allegedly by british pows?

Hitler, he only had one ball

Himmler, had two but very small

...

But poor old Goebels had no balls at all.

See Hitler has only got one ball. -R. fiend 15:50, 16 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Amazonman1, while I sympathize with your cause, a Wikipedia article is not the place to voice these concerns in this manner. If you have any information to add, please try to do so in the spirit of creating a better encyclopedia article. I look forward to seeing any new information you might have. Thanks. Khwae or Kwae???

[edit]
    • the upper part of the Mae Klong was renamed to Kwae Yai (big tributary)

There is apparently a contradiction in the transcription here. is it kwae or khwae, with the aspirate kh? Could any Thai speaker clarify this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.21.202.46 (talkcontribs)

It's quite clear from reading the Thai spelling - ค (kho khwai ) us the aspirate kh, only it is often "wrongly" transcribed as k. andy 11:07, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

River Kwai redirect

[edit]

If this is, as the article clearly states in its opening words, the River Kwai, then why does River Kwai redirect elsewhere? Either this article or the redirect needs to be fixed. -R. fiend (talk) 13:13, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Kwai please!

[edit]

Common everybody knows the name and I'm sure its the best known river in Thailand thanks to the movie. If this is not accepted then rename Rome, Roma, Athens, Athinai and Lisbon, Lisboa! --213.55.224.153 (talk) 23:02, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
