Article issues[edit]

So basically I'll keep this breif, Kill Shakespeare is a comic book, by this alone the article concerning it should be kept up, as this of course can be referred to as an encyclopedic endeavour.

The page does need a bit more work I will admit, particularly with references and citations, however I have been exchanging emails with the creators, as well as personal experience from reading the series and attending a panel hosted by the project's team, so the missing parts in question will be up in time. Also they have given me permission to use the image files for the covers of the first two issues, along with both alternative designs. I would go through the red-tape of adding proof of this to the image file upload pages, but quite frankly I feel I've dealt with enough bureaucratic requirements with starting this page from scratch that I don't feel inclined to go about re-doing the work. However, if it comes to pass that either I re-submit with the proof I have, or the article gets deleted, I will certainly chose the re-submitting process. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Deathstrok (talk • contribs) 01:27, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have declined speedy deletion of the article, which should at the very least allow the article to be improved for a few days without risk of deletion, but suggest that the referencing of the article be improved, both for the sake of verifiability and notability reasons. As for the images, they can be used without permission from the authors, under our non-free content criteria. You can look at other comic articles, e.g Spider-Man, to see how the images are tagged. decltype (talk) 23:48, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the PROD after hacking this into a more standardised format and digging out more sources - they have got quite a bit of coverage and a range of reviews from various notable sites which means a PROD no longer seems appropriate. It does need a lot more work and the sources being integrated into the article but it seems a reasonable start for a comic book article. However if there are still concerns then run it through an AfD. (Emperor (talk) 17:25, 14 June 2010 (UTC))[reply]
