Screenshot

[edit]

If someone can find one, I think a screenshot showing the usage of the jet pack would be better to have on the page than the current screenshot. JDC808 (talk) 20:43, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Pachter

[edit]

Anyone else think we oughta get rid of his quote? He's been constantly quoted with redundant and condescending comments, and I really don't think the matter of whether Killzone 3 sells systems is relevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.7.240.252 (talk) 02:32, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It seems pretty pointless. He's answering a question no one asked and his comment hasn't received significant enough coverage to make it notable. Chimpanzee - User | Talk | Contribs 11:37, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Joystiq review

[edit]

Joystiq gave the game 3.5/5[1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.241.31.176 (talk) 09:45, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's just messed up, lol. (TheEvanCat (talk) 20:08, 28 February 2011 (UTC))[reply]

IGN Review

[edit]

"IGN gave the game an 8.5, praising the atmosphere, graphics and multiplayer. However, the reviewer criticized that it wasn't Call of Duty."

Funny. Someone might want to change that back to whatever it was. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.14.25.215 (talk) 16:31, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

some idiot changed most "Killzone" bits to "Coolzone". I fail to see how this is funny, so I changed that back... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.14.219.161 (talk) 11:47, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Multiplayer servers

[edit]

Does multiplayer use dedicated servers or peer-to-peer? Should this article mention it? Does this article should have a technical section talking about this and others technical issues like engine and others?

[I don't know how to indent] This game uses peer-to-peer servers, a difference from KZ2 which used dedicated servers.

General Improvements and updates

[edit]

Just reading this article through and I noticed a bunch of things. Firstly, this article needs to be updated to reflect that the game is already out, the tense changes throughout the entry from future to present to past tense.

Secondly, in the online section there should be some comparison and definition to what makes this game different from other online shooters. A better, expanded definition of Warzone mode would be good since it is a decidely unique feature to the Killzone franchise. Mention should be made about the map design modifications necessary to accomplish the task of making this game mode work. Also, there needs to be a good way of describing Warzone since its not easily apparent in the current wording of the article. Simply playing the game shows how different the revolving objective mode is, but its difficult to describe to a person who only plays CoD the significance of changing game modes and how players keep on fighting in between modes.

There should probably be a section talking about the change in development cycle between 2 and 3, which were a five year and eighteen month development cycles, respectively. As well as a mention that the "new" killzone is Killzone Mercenary for PSVita rather than Killzone 4. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.161.2.14 (talk) 17:19, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
