Raffaele Soru[edit]

According to the italian version of this page Raffaele Soru held the rank of Corporal. Nurses are entitled to hold the rank up to Maresciallo (Marshall) in the Italian Red Cross Military Corp. Beside, it would be fair to link this page to the ONUC page... --151.69.30.181 (talk) 17:46, 12 April 2012 (UTC)12/04/2012[reply]

From the perspective of the Malayan Regiment at Kindu[edit]

My father was part of the Malayan Regiment on the protection detail for the Italian Airmen. The events of the Kindu massacre/atrocity as vieved from their eyes can be found here http://renjervalour.blogspot.com/2006/03/2lt-nh-siebel-pgb-and-captain-maurice.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.145.55.61 (talk) 03:08, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is all very biased![edit]

The article sounds like it was written by someone who was told by someone, who knew someone who lived in the next town. It should have much more in the way of references. To say that the Italians terrorised locals and "intoxicated themselves" sounds very POV to me. I will delete the offending unreferenced part. If I have time I'll come back to do more. It is a shame that people come to find out facts from this encyclopaedia and they get this drivel. Francis Hannaway (talk) 19:21, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
