The obvious advertising for pies (admittedly very good pies) is non-NPOV, inappropriate, recent, and should be reverted. Callophylla 09:29, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

pies

[edit]

this definately advertising with questionable POV, I've move here if a source can by cited then it could be put back into the article Gnangarra 09:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC) the section[reply]

The Kirup deli is rather proud of its "famous homemade pies". The pies are from an old recipe handed down through the young family for 5 generations. They are known throughout the district as being the greatest pies in all of Australia. Mr Geoff Young re-introduced the recipe 15 years ago to re-establish the recipe within the general public. All the pies are hand made and all have real meat and gravy. They are an outstanding part of the Kirup landscape.

I thought my original statement 'The Kirup deli is rather proud of its "famous homemade pies"' was neutral enough, but yeah, the expansion got a bit advertisey. JAW 16:06, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The wording should be "Kirup deli is famous for its homemade pie", then that still needs references see WP:CITE the source needs to be from a 3rd party. Gnangarra 00:21, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also what about the Kirup Syrup Gnangarra
Dunsborough has a similar problem with bakery item too SatuSuro 12:22, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Upper Capel

[edit]

Was this the name of the railway siding? Needs clarifying, I think. NinetyCharacters (talk) 11:16, 19 September 2008 (UTC) Yes, it was according to the Landgate ref.--Hughesdarren (talk) 11:23, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Syrup

[edit]

I removed the claim that The current Kirup Syrup sold in flagons at the local tavern is not the original syrup, because it was unreferenced. Of course, if anyone can supply a reliable source about it, that'd be great. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  06:15, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
