@Blaylockjam10: Could you provide more explanation as to why the statement boat accidents in Nigerian rivers are frequent requires attribution in the text of the article as opposed to just the footnotes? Bsherr (talk) 00:28, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Bsherr: When this article was being edited to make it so that it could appear in ITN, it was stated that the sentence needed attribution in the text. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm guessing that it was thought that the sentence violated the "Avoid stating facts as opinions" part since a specific # of boat accidents wasn't mentioned.
