Some Thai regard the taller pillar as male and the other as female, which would make the latter kin to an Asherah pole.Lee 13:28, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Provinces without city pillar shrine

[edit]

Which provinces still have no city pillar shrine? I just added to the article that Chonburi is now building one, and I also failed to find any in Nakhon Pathom. Obviously Bueng Kan has none yet, but that one is not yet established as a province. But are there any other provinces? andy (talk) 11:33, 11 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Article title

[edit]

Suggest renaming to City pillar per WP:USEENGLISH. Otherwise, should be Lak mueang, with a lowercase m. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:17, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
