To make the list comprehensive, would it be better to define a category rather than maintain this list, which is constrained as a list of places open on a particular day. jrbray

I've tried to make the lists comprehensive but don't know how to work the categories so perhaps someone more wiki-literate than me could have a go at that? Infilms 16:54, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Done it - see Category:Landmark Trust properties in the United Kingdom Saga City 14:55, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Merge proposal[edit]

A merge of the content of Manifold Trust was proposed here, but the proposer seemed to be a bit confused as to the procedure. If the content is deleted before it is merged then there will be nothing left to merge, and after merger there needs to be a redirect both to guide readers to the correct article and to maintain the attribution history for copyright purposes. Phil Bridger (talk) 18:14, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

  • Why would we possibly want to merge articles on two different organisations, even though they have similar goals? Andy Dingley (talk) 20:35, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Quite. Fortunately it seems to have gone away. DBaK (talk) 21:58, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
  • Is there a procedure for speedily deleting merge proposals that we can use? S a g a C i t y (talk) 09:11, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
Yes. Andy Dingley (talk) 09:29, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

National Trust[edit]

Different role to the National Trust – if so, what? This needs mentioning/explaining, as neither page explains their relationship to one another, or why both exist, leaving readers none the wiser. Jimthing (talk) 19:42, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
