Changed statement on taxation. The taxation system that the PRC has is radically different from the United States in that the PRC relies mainly on a VAT tax, and there isn't the property/sales/income local/state/federal hierarchy that exists in the United States.

The places where the PRC copied US law are in the banking sectors (i.e. the structure and function of the People's Bank of China and the Glass-Stegall separation of commercial and investment banking).
