Merger proposal[edit]

Let the People Sing ran (under that title) from 1957 to 1964. In 1965 it was expanded to become an international competition under the revised title Let the Peoples Sing. That it remained, however, essentially the same competition is shown by the fact that the BBC announced the 1965 series as "The Ninth Year", the 1966 series as "The Tenth Year", and so on. I suggest, therefore that it would make sense to merge the present article with the fuller account to be found at Let the Peoples Sing. -- Picapica (talk) 18:51, 19 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
