Date of birth

What's the source for the date of birth given in the article? It disagrees with the reported age in most of the news stories cited. —C.Fred (talk) 16:52, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that most sources have corrected the age to 55 now and were rounding up to 56 previously (see this for example). The 1965 YOB looks to come from here [1], the official UTRGV basketball team's twitter account. Per public records the unsourced DOB looks to be correct but we should wait for a better source before adding it. Connormah (talk) 23:27, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
