Rename or move[edit]

Can someone please rename or move the page to "Liberhan Ayodhya Commission of Inquiry" which is the official name as per the official notification of the Indian Government? Also, the judge's name is Manmohan Singh Liberhan - it currently refers to "M S Liberhan", so that might need to be changed too —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.90.69.13 (talk) 02:31, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tabled?[edit]

" The Government tabled the report and the accompanying action taken report (ATR)—which mostly contained recommendations—until 22 December, 2009" Isn't this using the American English meaning of tabled instead of the British English one would expect in India? Rmhermen (talk) 16:52, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The sentence was awkwardly worded in any case. I have reworded it to "Parliament delayed discussion of the report and the accompanying Action Taken Report (ATR), which contained mostly recommendations, until 22 December 2009". NW (Talk) 22:27, 24 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Context[edit]

This needs some context for those not intimately familiar with Indian politics.

  • Introduction
    • Why is this mosque disputed?
    • Why was it destroyed?
    • By whom?
    • What makes its destruction important?
    • From 3 months to 17 years is an astonishing overrun; an overrun like that begs for an explanation.
  • Terms
    • Needs linking, and is this a quote? If it isn't quoting, then the verbiage needs to be seriously cleaned up - expressions like 'all the facts and circumstances relating to' impede understanding.
  • Duration
    • What's 8 crore in USD?
    • Why does it seem to repeat the introduction?
    • Sequence of sentences is off - history, then outcomes, then history, then goals?
  • Leaked
    • What exactly is the report? A specific document of X hundred pages, like the 9/11 Report?
    • Was the report finished or were people being given drafts?
    • Why now?
    • What is the significance of the BJP and why would the report accusing them be seen as aiding the current government?
    • Ditto for RSS

External links

    • Official, or unofficial?
    • If official, then why the uproar about the leak?

Are the three links pointing to the same thing, or what?

Hope this review helps. --Gwern (contribs) 23:05 24 November 2009 (GMT)

Disupted neutrality?[edit]

The article has a notification that there is a dispute on the neutrality of the article in the talk page. Has the dispute been removed or is the notification incorrect? None of the comments here qualify as a dispute about the neutrality of the article unless I have misunderstood them.
