I am currently re-working the article on Librestream to improve upon its notability and citations. I have requested assistance from an experienced Wikipedia editor, and I will submit an edited version as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience. User: PaperClip777 May 23, 2011

To improve the article's notability, I have now removed three citations from self-published sources. Nine citations from published sources remain. They are as follows (listed in alphbetical order):

  • Automation and Control - Design News
  • Bodyshop Magazine
  • CEDMagazine
  • Control Engineering
  • e-security Planet
  • Energy Manufacturing
  • Forrester Reseearch
  • Just for Canadian Doctors
  • Winnipeg Free Press

Other changes made in this edit include:

  • I edited the paragraph that begins "In 2006 . . " under the heading "Company history". I removed the second sentence that specifically mentions product names, as well as the last sentence.
  • I changed the word 'feature' to 'include' in the paragraph that begins "Mobile collaboration . . " under the heading "Mobile collaboration"
  • I added a wikilink to Videoconferencing

I will continue to re-work this article: I will focus on the introductory paragraph in the Lead section to help explain why Librestream is notable.

Thanks for the extensive cleanup work. Several if not all of those references could have been verified. E.g.:

  • 11/12/2008, Partnership between fellow Winnipeggers LibreStream Technologies and Boyd Autobody Inc. [1]

Also some explicitly say reprinted with permission so I don't think that counts as self-published though I agree it's better to get the references linked directly instead of the republished versions. 207.161.191.252 (talk) 03:55, 19 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

To continue to improve the article's notability, I added a second paragraph in the Lead section to explain why Librestream's technology is notable. I reviewed and compared four articles from related companies in this regard (Audiosoft,Lifesize, Radvision, and Vidyo).

I also added four categories to this article: Collaboration, Mobile technology, Teleconferencing, and Videotelephony.

I have a question regarding External links. I noticed on the article on Mobile collaboration that the External links had been removed. Is it acceptable to include External links on this Librestream article? If not, I will remove them.

Thank you.Paperclip777 (talk) 21:34, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To continue to improve article's tone, I changed the second sentence in the Lead section to read "technologies that enable" instead of "innovative solutions enabling".Paperclip777 (talk) 19:25, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
