birth place

[edit]

ok where was Lisa born? was it Manchester or Lancashire? They are two separate entities, being a native Mancunian I'd know this. 199.101.62.55 (talk) 03:06, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

the intro says that Stansfield was born in Manchester, England, which I believe. However, the "early life" section states Rochdale, Lancashire. Manchester and Rochdale are two different places, It'd be like saying that someone was born in Washington, D.C. in the intro of an article, then saying they're born in Fairfax in the "early life" section. Washington, D.C. and Fairfax are two different albeit close places, just as Manchester and Rochdale, much like Fairfax and Washington, D.C., are two separate entities, even if they are in the same general geographic area. that's why I want that fixed right now, was she born in Rochdale or manchester? I'm changing the early life section to reflect the intro for consistency, but feel free to revert it, but if you do, you must also change the intro, or else explain in the talkpage rather than the undo edit history. thanks. 199.101.62.55 (talk) 03:20, 22 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

not rochdale

[edit]

Stansfield was not born in Rochdale, she was born right in Manchester itself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.111.120.74 (talk) 23:36, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Talk of the Town

[edit]

It was actually 'The talk of the North' in Eccles. Just watched her say it in a BBC documentary. 2A00:23C5:30:8800:84AD:1A22:5FCF:3333 (talk) 21:19, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
