Untitled[edit]

This list seems to correspond largely with the list at http://www.tv.com/cheers/show/66/episode_guide.html (at least the last episodes). I've taped the episodes from NCRV and was at first irrtated by the fact that they used a sometimes completely different order for the episodes (althought that didn't seem to get in the way of the storyline). But then I noticed that in one of the last episodes (forgot which one) there was a reference to Sam's psyciatric talk group, even though, according to the order given here, he only entered it later, in the one but last episode (the guy can't help it). So the chronology is wrong here, but made sense on NCRV. Above site even gives the US air dates. If this is correct, people in the US must have been puzzled by this. Did NCRV follow a different 'official' order? Here's the order they used for the last season, following the numbering given here (note that I missed episodes 4 and 15, so I can't placed those):

1 - 2 - 3 - 6 - 7 - 5 - 9 - 8 - 10 - 11 - 12 - 13 - 14 - 15 - 16 - 17 - 18 - 25 - 19 - 23/24 - 20 - 21 - 22 - 25/26/27

The last three episodes are also a bit confusing. Above link gives only one episode by that name, but also 'Last Call', which is not a real episode. I suppose that is one of the last three as listed here. NCRV didn't show that one, but I didn't know which one to leave out of above list. DirkvdM 16:31, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

Episode summaries[edit]

I've just reverted three unexplained edits that removed the "Series overview" section and all of the episode summaries.[1] Rather than deleting episode sumnmaries, more need to be added so I've tagged the article accordingly.[2] --AussieLegend (talk) 08:39, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Split[edit]

This list is longer than Time Cube. Anyone think it should be split by season? (e.g. Cheers (season 1), Cheers (season 2), etc.) Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 16:17, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Absolutley! If you can do it, I say go fot it. ----DanTD (talk) 18:02, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

The A. V. Club scheduled to write about Cheers two episodes at a time[edit]

Beginning November 10. If you're not familiar with The A.V. Club, they feature some of the best and most thoughtful commentary on pop culture, with production information and historical context, as well as reviews. So that should be helpful in expanding this and writing more about individual episodes. postdlf (talk) 15:24, 28 October 2011 (UTC)

A Bit Confusing[edit]

On the Cheers page, it says the series aired 270 or 273 episodes, but here it says it aired 275. Which is correct? On the TV Land Awards show it says 273 episodes. For multiple episodes on this episode list, it says that "Rebecca Gaines, Rebecca Loses" is the 270/271 episode, and the finale is the 273/274/275 episode. The episodes should be a single number, no double numbers. In their initial airings, the longer episodes aired in their entirety, not in half-hour installments like in reruns. So an one-hour long episode should be listed as one episode, not two. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.221.35.36 (talk) 01:10, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

List of Friends episodes does the same thing. --George Ho (talk) 01:16, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
