List criteria

[edit]

@Jklamo:, as you've reverted my changes to the list, I can only presume you disagree with the inclusion criteria. Can you help me understand what criteria you're using? Kuru (talk) 00:27, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion criteria are shown, notable companies based in the Czech Republic. Some of them have parents outside the Czech Republic, but even these are subsidiaries are based in the Czech Republic and notable.--Jklamo (talk) 10:22, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Jklamo:, I'm aware that inclusion criteria is shown, in the lead and in an edit notice that displays when the article is edited. It appears that you are using a different set of criteria, though. What definition of "notable" are you proposing? Kuru (talk) 12:23, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Jklamo:, with no response on your interpretation of the article's inclusion criteria, I presume you're comfortable reverting back to the original state - list items that have existing articles. Kuru (talk) 14:14, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am not able to get the entries you have problem with. Any example?--Jklamo (talk) 14:21, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Jklamo, do you think, possibly, that it may have had something to do with the revert I mentioned at the top of this section? Here's a link, just in case. Kuru (talk) 15:35, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
With no response in two months, I presume there are no objections to using the original and active inclusion criteria. My intent is to re-format the article to match the other 173 company articles this week; an example of the format is List of companies of Belgium. Let me know if there are any issues before I spend time on this. Kuru (talk) 18:42, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Please keep current list of largest companies, as Fortune Global 500 is not appropriate here. If you have some doubts about inclusion of some companies in current list, please mark them simply with Template:Citation needed and I will provide sources. I have no problem with format changes.--Jklamo (talk) 19:56, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Will do. Better yet, let me pull them to the talk page here as a a "working list". For the ones with obvious sources, I'll create stub/start articles for them and move them back. For others, I may need help finding native languages sources - I'll note which ones I need help with. The intent would be to expand coverage of notable Czech firms and subsidiaries.
