There's been a debate on the episode count for season 3. TFC states 20 episodes for this season, with the other two having to be cut this season. Nobody is saying the source says they are not shooting the episodes, I'm sure they are, but they aren't shooting them as a part of this season. As confirmed with Legacies, Riverdale, Charmed, and several other CW series, the current season's episode count has been shortened and they will be producing the episodes next season. I think we need to come to a consensus as a whole on whether or not to put twenty or twenty-two episodes for the count. My vote? 20. --Jonathan Joseph (talk) 18:24, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Unless there's a source specifically naming Dynasty as doing the same as the other series, 20 episodes is speculation, and should not be added. As far as Futon Critic goes, they list episodes as they are announced or produced, so it is editor interpretation to assume that their lack of info on additional episodes means anything beyond the fact that The CW has not announced more. Yes, it seems obvious that they will not be shooting for awhile. But there is no rush to update this number, and it's perfectly fine if it stays at 22 for a few months and is proven "wrong" later.— TAnthonyTalk18:35, 20 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yep – again, these kinds of issues are likely to finally be resolved with the networks' May Upfronts. That's just 2 or 3 weeks away now – there's no reason not to be patient until we get some official word from The CW at the Upfronts... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 13:41, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am officially changing my vote to 20 and the end date to May 8, 2020 as the official episode reliable source itself confirmed it is the season finale now. — YoungForever(talk)14:35, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
