[edit]I'm unclear on the rules guiding who should go on this list. There is a section for politicians, but the three Methodist American presidents are not there. Is this an oversight or the result of a policy? --OinkOink 06:19, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- I'd intended to limit it to politicians who were significant to Methodist history or culture. Many of these lists get deleted so that's why I went strict like that. However I did add McKinley because of his significance to missionary work.--T. Anthony 10:22, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Thatcher
[edit]Hi,
It does seem odd that Mrs Thatcher isn't on the list given she was raised Methodist and made no secret of it, indeed the wiki article on her "Sermon on the Mound" says she preached when at Oxford. She was married at Wesley's Chapel and donated to it the communion rail. Some sources: within wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sermon_on_the_Mound
