Chlorr

[edit]

I always thought that Mogget called Chlorr "Chlorr No-Face" because she was no longer human and therefore did not have a face. Thoughts? 207.179.65.100 (talk) 05:55, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mogget

[edit]

When Mogget is freed at the end of Abhorsen, it seems to me that he is freed by Sabriel, not Sam. From the book: "Behind her, she heard Yrael speak, and Sabriel, and the brief chime of Belgaer, so strange after the massed song of bells, its single voice freeing Mogget from his millennia of servitude." Mogget was bound in service to the Abhorsens, so it would make sense that an Abhorsen would need to be the one to free him. Sam was using Sabriel's Belgaer ("Sabriel, please give Belgaer to Sam, and tell him the binding spell."), so she could have just taken it back from him to release Mogget. Sam was also reluctant to ever use the bells, so I don't think he'd jump at the chance here.--Stevematt12 (talk) 04:26, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
