End of season updates[edit]

@SounderBruce Regarding this undo: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_Seattle_Seahawks_seasons&diff=prev&oldid=1194250871, I don't understand your point of needing a source. Updating records is just a matter of simple math. Also the source is right here at Pro Football Reference: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/sea/. @Bluejay14: Any and all updates need to be backed up by a source; in this case, PFR has not been updated to reflect today's game (which is why it shows 391 wins instead of 392) and the main NFL citation is still showing pre-2023 statistics. Sports entries are under more scrutiny due to the unfettered use of original research to update articles, so please be more careful. As this is now a featured list, it is expected to uphold stricter sourcing standards. Sounder Bruce 01:25, 8 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Got it, thanks. I'm aware it's easy to copy from sources without checking if information is up to date, not that I was doing it. I agree my edits can be deemed WP:OR, though subtle.
