Combine May and June

[edit]

I don't think I've seen this happen since I started editing, but it seems we have fewer than 60 confirmed tornadoes for may. While more will probably filter in when the NCDC data comes out, this is pretty low. Given the low activity, it seems we should keep May and June in one list once we start adding June tornadoes. Merge

[edit]

It seems the June list has already been created. However, given the low activity in May, I think May and June should be merged into List of United States Tornadoes from May to June 2020. Generally speaking, we only seem to split months into separate list articles if that month had more than 150-200 tornadoes. May has fallen far short of that mark this year.

I support this, and hadn't realized May's tornado count was that low before I created the article. I don't mind if you merge them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tornadotom666 (talkcontribs) 21:08, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I would've added the June tornado to the May page if I had the time to. I don't even know why a new page was even made here, although I guess the inactive May led to this unusual situation. LOL! Anyway, please merge. ChessEric (talk) 22:43, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Merging is fine with me. United States Man (talk) 22:45, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the idea of merging May and June 2020 since May 2020 had a well below average tornado count. Aaaaaa3231 (talk) 23:30, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree with the merging of May and June due to the low count in May.--Halls4521 (talk) 03:32, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Should July go here too?ChessEric (talk) 23:14, 3 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I think it should. — Preceding unsigned comment added by KyleZ135 (talkcontribs) 00:33, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Support: I'd maybe wait a few days, but I see nothing wrong with the merge. It makes sense as June was even less active than May.--Halls4521 (talk) 01:06, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Less than 150 tornadoes between two months? Yeah, I'd say we should merge. Weird year we're having TornadoLGS (talk) 01:17, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yep, after yet another well below average month for tornadoes, I'd say merging July with May and June isn't a bad idea. Aaaaaa3231 (talk) 18:21, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
