Still in progress[edit]

Although this list presently contains only one name, there were a number of aces born to British parents stationed in India that are eligible to be added later.

Indeed, India was a British colony during World War I. That is why the list is entitled "List of World War I aces from India", rather than "List of World War I Indian aces" (note the emphasis).
