Pictures

[edit]

The list in the German Wikipedia includes a small picture of each bird which is kind of nice. Maybe if someone happens to have a LOT of spare time and knows how to do that kind of thing without infringing on copyright regulations... --93.212.252.179 (talk) 15:14, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

German names

[edit]

It would be useful to have the German vernacular names as well as the English and scientific names. Dave.Dunford (talk) 13:23, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of bird

[edit]

I miss some bird on the list e.g. Pazifiksegler, Fork-tailed Swift, Apus pacificus (A) Kanadakranich, Sandhill Crane, Antigone canadensis (A) Carolinataube, Mourning Dove, Zenaida macroura (A) Blutspecht, Syrian Woodpecker, Dendrocopos syriacus (A)Coracias garrulus (talk) 21:37, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Coracias garrulus: Do you have a source for those species being seen in Germany? Thanks, SchreiberBike | ⌨  22:27, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Coracias garrulus:@SchreiberBike: These four species were not on the Club 300's late 2017 list cited as the article's source. They are now on the most recent version of the Club 300 list and I will be adding them to the article when I do the update to the most recent Clements taxonomy. I expect that to be within the next two weeks. Craigthebirder (talk) 01:00, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Coracias garrulus:@SchreiberBike: Done. Club 300 added these four species and more (and deleted some) since last year. Note that Clements calls Apus pacificus Pacific swift, not fork-tailed. Craigthebirder (talk) 10:27, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
