Upcoming films

[edit]

We shouldn't list upcoming films. Per WP:CRYSTAL and per WP:OR and WP:SUBJECTIVE, it's not clear what is a horror film as the films aren't made yet. It's up for audiences/critics to interpret genre and what falls under the categories. If the films aren't released yet, it's not clear what belongs in what category. Anything prior to this is just marketing and doesn't really help users know what a horror film is or isn't. I've removed the upcoming films for now. Please do not add film to these until they are released. Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:25, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The movie Antlers was given the following 2021 release date, October, 29, 2021, according to this recent The Hollywood Reporter article.[1] 2601:4A:4201:AF0:E467:37A0:728A:6AB6 (talk) 15:05, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is information that warrants the addition of 2019’s Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark with the following references: [1][2] 2601:4A:4201:AF0:28F8:2202:C1A6:5ED0 (talk) 17:32, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: that movie was released in 2019, not in the 2020s. The appropriate list for it would be List of horror films of 2019, and it's already present there. Volteer1 (talk) 05:16, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
