House cleaning

[edit]

I organized the list alphabetically and added serval orgs. This is finally becoming useful. Following is a section that I took out and I'm not sure what to do with. Any thoughts? Is this the right place to store this info? - Freechild 21:08, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

College and young-adult organizations

[edit]

Seems pretty useless to me!

[edit]

This seems to me a useless list. Surely we can make this article describe the nature of youth organizations, and leave its function as a list (a surely poor and incomplete one at that) to the categories system. Delete the list and call it a stub! Any comments? --jnothman 11:17, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Amen. Er, I mean, Agree. --Tetraminoe 10:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, somebody has to delete the list and call it a stub! Emily 20:11, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well it's deleted now 202.191.106.124 03:18, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have restored it. There is no consensus to delete. You also added a POV remark and did not use a stub template to indicate it was a stub. Also the disambiguation tag should remain as it helps readers. More should be added to describe the nature of youth organisations, I agree. The list could also be organised better. Maybe we should consider deleting the list when the introduction is more than just a stub. --Bduke 03:42, 29 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Youth Club

[edit]

Youth club seems to be about the same thing as a Youth organization. I think the (somewhat short) information should be merged into this article. I'd like if there was more coverage of this than a list, but that is all I can seem to find. --Transfinite (Talk / Contribs) 01:43, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • They are not quite the same: a youth club is a place, which may be run by a youth organisation, or maybe by another type of organisation or local authority. The article may be a stub, but it is one that can be expanded, and I'm not sure how it would be merged into a list. --Snigbrook (talk) 01:13, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any age limit?

[edit]

What's the age range to be included as a youth organisation? Does it include a group where minimum age is 18? And up to a maximum of what? Is 18-30 a youth organisation? Emeraude (talk) 12:16, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
