Last sentence in introductory paragraph is horrible english and almost indeciperable[edit]

Dalí wrote of lobsters and telephones in his book The Secret Life, demanding to know why, when he asked for a grilled lobster in a restaurant, he was never presented with a boiled telephone.

It's so bad I can't fix it because I can't figure out what actually happened or what was said to who. I don't want to remove it because it's quite an interesting key tidbit (if true, still waiting on a citation). 206.214.242.230 (talk) 15:38, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have found a citation for this and a full quote on Page 271 of the book in question. http://books.google.com/books?id=9Y5HndNxmtYC&lpg=PA271&ots=hgDDIuqV_8&dq=lobster%20intitle%3AThe%20intitle%3ASecret%20intitle%3ALife%20intitle%3Aof%20intitle%3ASalvador%20intitle%3ADal%C3%AD&pg=PA271#v=onepage&q=lobster%20intitle:The%20intitle:Secret%20intitle:Life%20intitle:of%20intitle:Salvador%20intitle:Dal%C3%AD&f=false — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.67.84 (talk) 16:11, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Lobster telephone.jpg[edit]

Image:Lobster telephone.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

What does all this crap mean? The rationale for fair use is that the article is about the precise subject of the image. Restore the image, for God's sake! This is the kind of nonsense that gives Wikipedia a bad name. At the very least, the article ought to have a link to a reputable site showing an image of the object.

I uploaded another image with proper rationale. It is essential for the article. InverseHypercube (talk) 02:27, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Assistance please: Add image for white Lobster Telephone[edit]

Would like to upload an image file of one of the rare white "Syrie Maugham" versions of the Aphrodisiac Telephone (Lobster Telephone) to this article (source: [1]). Have contributed image files to Wikimedia Commons before, but not uploaded image files directly to Wikipedia using a fair use rationale. Could use some assistance re: how to accomplish this. Thanks.
