isolation vs. discovery

[edit]

This is a very good article on a great chemist, indeed the discoverer of berylium. However, all of my earliest sources, including Bloxam, and Professor Elvira Weeks in her "discovery of the elements" give both Wohler and Bussy as having independently isolated the metal, using the process described in this article, some thirty years after prof. Vauquelin's discovery. Are my sources superceded with more recent ones? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paraballo (talkcontribs) 00:14, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

removed "he was a man of greatness"

[edit]

That, to me, just sounds unprofessional and silly. Kind of opinionated for an encyclopedia. If anyone disagrees, say so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.197.237.39 (talk) 23:17, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
