Regarding the birthplaces of the Rivera children

[edit]

Something here isn't making any sense. According to the biographies of the Rivera children, Jenni was born first, in Long Beach, CA in 1969. Lupillo was born later, in 1972, but according to various sources he was born in either Ciudad Obregon, Sonora or in the state of Jalisco; whichever one of the two, he was supposedly born in Mexico but moved to the US at age 4 with his family, which would mean he arrived in the US in 1976. However, his sister Jenni was born seven years before the Rivera family supposedly arrived in the US, yet her birth place is listed as the United States! How does this make any sense? (Note: I have posted this same question in Jenni Rivera's talk page as well.) 205.246.153.217 (talk) 22:53, 6 March 2008 (UTC) As far as i remember Lupillo was named El Torito first then after changed to El Toro del corrido. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.103.14.240 (talk) 16:01, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
