Introduction

[edit]
  • Okay, the infobox doesn't list merengue as one of the genres but the introduction does. I think tropipop would summarize the article's genre, making the other two, or at least vallenato unnecessary.
  • I fixed the instance of left out words. Other than that, it seems fine here.
  • A dude, I want to replace that line "The album experiments with the sound of vallenato, merengue and pop music, which defines its genre as Tropipop". But I have problems to traduce to the spanish to english "El álbum experimenta con sonidos de vallenato, merengue y música pop, los cuales definen su género como Tropipop". Thanks @ DivaKnockouts
  • I guess this would be considered close paraphrasing. Um, how about "Musically, the album experiments with tropipop, which is composed of the genres of vallenato, merengue, and pop music. — DivaKnockouts 18:59, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Background

[edit]
  • This kinds of confuses me: "She met Colombian producer, Jose Gaviria, during her career in television, and they began working on a musical project, but the production was halted, because Fanny was busy in her television career.[1] Eight years later, she reunited with Gaviria to finish this recording." — The infobox and introduction say recording was in 2004. You say here, they reunited to finish the recording. Had recording already begun?
  • @Erick told me that you speaks spanish. Pues no existe material que de prueba de que se haya grabado algo para Lágrimas Cálidas, solo se sabe que ella había empezado a trabajar por un rpoyecto, que al final quedo en palabras. Y luego ocho años despues se retomó para convertirse en LG. Read the seven paragraph, heeerrrree!
  • Okay, based on the article it seems that everything is okay. You can keep it like it is, assuming that recording had not already began.

Composition

[edit]
  • After the introduction, Fanny Lu should be referred to as “Lu” within the rest of the article (Sound sample description for “No Te Pido Flores”)
  • “The fifth track, "Cariñito" ("Sweetie"), describes her need for the affection of the person she loves, and her desire to remedy the void left in his heart.” — Is the void left in her heart or his heart?
  • "Y Si Te Digo" should translate to "And If I Tell You".
  • "Es Por Ti" should translate to "It Is For You".

Reception

[edit]
  • "At the 15th Latin Billboard Music Awards, the album won the best Tropical Airplay Song of the Year, for "Y Si Te Digo"," — This should be moved to the singles section and only talk about the album's success here, since there is a singles section.

Track listing

[edit]
  • Looks great here.

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • Wow, very nice here.

References

[edit]
  • FN2 — No italics to Allmusic, it is not a printed source.
  • The template's source don't leave me to change it. "work=Allmusic"?
  • FN19 — Billboard.com should appear as Billboard
  • FN27 — Avoid ALL CAPS
  • FN30 & 31 — These need to be formatted

There is some work that needs to be done, however, I will put the article on hold until the issues presented here and at DYK have been resolved. — DivaKnockouts 22:44, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Since the last issue was fixed some time ago, I'll step in and pass the article. Wizardman 02:46, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
