Proposed takeover of iiNet

[edit]

M2 Group has launched a counter bid against TPG to aquire iiNet. http://www.wsj.com/articles/australias-m2-group-launches-rival-a-1-5b-offer-for-iinet-1430105209 It might be mentionable in the timeline? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.68.125.42 (talk) 03:56, 27 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional material

[edit]

This article looks like it was written by Dodo/M2 themselves and is a bit self-promotional. Especially "is a fast-growing provider of..." and "for more about M2 visit ..." I have removed the link to the website in the body of the article as it is already stated on the side bar and in the "websites" section. As for the "fast-growing provider" it should either be referenced to the deloitte article or be removed. This is rated high-importance? Maybe to M2 Party Limited.(Lcohalan (talk) 01:26, 7 July 2014 (UTC))[reply]

I have removed some more editorialised material and added a NPOV tag. Agree that "fast-growing provider" needs to be removed also. --The Judas Goat (talk) 03:43, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The disputed phrasing has been removed, and as there has been more than 12 months without further discussion on this topic I have removed the NPOV tag. AngoraFish 02:59, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
