True?

[edit]

It's been a long time since I kept up with comic books, but please tell me the following isn't true:

Attempting to go legit, the Injustice League were given a chance by Maxwell Lord, the JLI chief and somehow managed to stop a terrorist attack. Sent to the South Pole and christened the Justice League of Antarctica, along with other nuisances G'nort and the Scarlet Skier, the team was short lived as Disaster destroyed their embassy whilst defeating a waddle of killer penguins.

JLA: Syndicate Rules

[edit]

There's a scene where GL Jon Stewart is shown battling Major Disaster on the antimatter world and the Major used lightning. Except for the uniform, which was all black, and the lack of a cape, he could have be the antimatter Captain Marvel. Captain, Major, being military ranking, the cuffed boots, the squinted eyes. I don't have the trade in front of me, but unless the character was explicitly stated as Major Disaster, I think it was Black Adam. All black uniform, no cape, looked like Captain Marvel? That's usually Black Adam. Did the guy have pointed ears and a thunderbolt on his chest? Cybertooth85 12:53, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:MajorDisaster.jpg

[edit]

Image:MajorDisaster.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting

[edit]

There was no source but it is said on the Boss Moxie page that 'Also, Dan stated that Moxie had killed Major Disaster during the "Battle of Metropolis." ' Lots42 (talk) 00:31, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't even make sense - either Superboy Prime killed Major Disaster or Boss Moxie - only one was at that fight. 98.203.174.254 (talk) 03:36, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Touche. Further evidence points it was Boss Moxie killed by SP. Lots42 (talk) 17:52, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
