I think its now a daily newspaper. I think they united with Hatzofe (Hebrew: הצופה), which was a daily tabloid. they also have a new website that replaces the previous one so I'll update that if necessary. Shyisc 00:06, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
the following images show the Makor Rishon website. The banner on top is from Makor Rishon:image 1. The banner is saying (translation from Hebrew) "from today, every day!" image 2. I think this proves that Makor Rishon now publishes daily. I also contacted them about additional information I think should be included in the article and hopefully they will soon respond. Information received directly from Makor Rishon[edit]
"עיתון מקור ראשון יוצא במהדורה יומית החל מה 25.4.07. המעטפת החדשותית הפכה לברודשיט ביוני 2005 אתר מקור1 - האתר החדש של מקור ראשון בכתובת www.makor1.co.il עלה לאויר ב 15.6.07 - האתר מעודכן כל שעות היום ויש בו ערוצי חדשות כלכלה ספורט ותרבות ,טורי דעות ועוד. באתר גם מידע שימושי כמו מפות ומזג אויר."
I was given the above information (in hebrew) in a letter from the CEO of Maror1, the website of Makor Rishon. translation:
the Makor Rishon newspaper is published in a daily edition starting from April 25 2007. the news wrapper (i.e. main section, I guess) became broadsheet in June 2005. the makor1 website - the new website of Makor Rishon at th address www.makor1.co.il was aired June 15 2007 - the website updates at all hours of the day and has news, economy, sports, opinion and other channels. the website also has useful information such as maps and weather.
I also received an information sheet that includes many interesting statistics. It says the newspaper exists for approximately 9 years, so that means it's very recent information. it says that about 40K households read it every friday, and 15K households read it every day. this places the information within the past 3 months.
